In one of our previous posts, entitled "The Hyundai Ioniq: One Car, Three Options," we introduced you to a hybrid, electric-vehicle and plug-in hybrid--all of which will live under the same nameplate, Ioniq. The fully electric model will get approximately 130 miles of range on a single charge; while the hybrid could achieve 57 to 58 mpg.

Hyundai Motor Company recently introduced the 2017 Ioniq -- which is made up of three electrified versions on the same platform -- at the New York International Auto Show. This fall, Hyundai will slowly roll-out the lineup, starting with the all-electric version; the release of the regular hybrid will follow with a winter launch and it will end with the plug-in hybrid, which will debut next summer.
