Being a part of the Hyundai family means that we get to become involved with some really amazing programs. During the month of September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Hyundai brings more than 800 of their U.S. dealerships together to help raise money for pediatric cancer.
Hyundai Hope on Wheels® was originally started in New England as regional Hyundai dealerships came together to raise money for the Dana-Farber Institute in Boston, MA. Slowly this cause grew from a regional fundraiser to a national fundraiser. Today, Hyundai makes a donation for every brand new Hyundai that is sold at a U.S. dealership. To date this initiative has raised more than $115 million dollars for pediatric cancer.
Being a Hyundai dealership in the suburban Philadelphia area, we would like to congratulate The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on receiving both the Hyundai Scholar Grant and the Hyundai Quantum Award, both of which will allow the hospital to continue research for a cure to pediatric cancer.
