

No Impact Man Screening
In honor of Earth Day, the Holistic Moms Network will host a screening of the documentary No Impact Man on April 17th. The screening will take place at the Community Educational Center in Doylestown, PA. The film will run from 7-9pm and there is no charge for admission. The film follows author, Colin Beavan, as he vows to decrease his environmental impact as much as possible. It also documents how this decision effects Beavan's family.
Bucks County Earth Day Fair
The 3rd annual Bucks County Earth Day Fair will take place on Saturday, April 19th. The fair, which will take place rain or shine, is being held at the Bucks Country Gardens. This Earth Day event will showcase local food and eco-friendly products as well as fun activities for kids. The event will run from 11am-4pm and there is no charge for admission.
BDR Earth Day Family Fun Run
If you're looking for an active Earth Day activity, you may want to check out the BDR Earth Day Family Fun Run. This event will take place on April 6th at Washington Crossing Historic Park. You can choose to run the 5k, 10k, or 1 mile race and the event is suitable for all levels of athletes. The cost of race registration ranges from $15-$30, but the proceeds will be donated to nonprofits and solar energy installation for k-12 schools.
Earth Day Work Day
On Saturday, April 12th, a work day in recognition of Earth Day will take place at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. Volunteers will help remove invasive plants, clean up trails, and help plant flowers. The work day runs from 9am-1pm. Volunteers will receive a free lunch after the event.
