Hyundai Venue Performance

The Venue comes with a 1.6L 4-cylinder that boasts 121 horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque. It pairs to a 6-speed manual transmission standard, but a continuously variable transmission is available. All models are front-wheel drive.

The Venue has impressive driving dynamics and energetic performance, especially when cruising around the city. It maneuvers well in virtually any driving situation and maintains its composure over bumpy or uneven surfaces. The steering is well-weighted and precise for driver confidence. Like other Hyundai models, the Venue comes with selectable drive modes to adjust the throttle and transmission shifting to Normal or Sport mode. There's a Snow Traction mode to assist in slippery road conditions.

2020 Venue: Styling and Interior Space

Despite its urban persona, the Venue has the shape, proportions, and design cues of a rugged SUV. It comes in a variety of attractive palettes and accents, such as Intense Blue, Denim, and Green Apple, and you can get a 2-tone roof for a striking look, as well as a combination denim and synthetic leather interior.

The Venue seats five people in two rows of seats. The front and rear seats are surprisingly spacious for its size, ensuring that passengers have plenty of space to move and stretch. The front pillars are coated on the outside in specific places for a whisper-quiet ride that cancels out highway and engine noise. There's also an available power sunroof to create an airy feel in the cabin.

The trunk has 18.7 cubic feet of space for shopping bags and some small luggage, but you can fold the 60/40 split seat to maximize the available space. For more space, there's an innovative cargo cover that can slide on a track or be removed completely to accommodate larger cargo.

Hyundai Venue Features

The Venue comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is the largest in the segment. It's fitted with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, which is a feature that allows you to connect your device to the vehicle's onboard system to stream music, podcasts, audiobooks, and other media from your apps. Hyundai's Blue Link® is available as well, which syncs with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for remote start and temperature control.

Plenty of safety features are standard, such as Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Driver Attention Warning (DAW), and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with Pedestrian Detection. You can also add Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) with Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW) for more visibility and protection.
